Spot the Gas Appliance Warning Signs ⚠️

Yellow/orange flames, black marks, frequent pilot light outages, unusual noises, rusted pipes, gas smells, or error messages? These could mean your gas appliance is unsafe.

➡️ Flame colour: Blue is good, yellow/orange is a warning
➡️ Staining & corrosion: Black marks or rust signal a problem
➡️ Condensation: Excess moisture can indicate venting issues
➡️ Pilot light & sounds: Frequent outages or banging noises are unsafe
➡️ Error codes & malfunctions: Don’t ignore them
➡️ Gas smell: Stop everything and call a Gas Safe engineer

➡️ Call a Gas Safe registered engineer
➡️ Install a CO alarm
➡️ Keep vents and chimneys clear
