Meet Tom

“Following on from the completion of my 4 year electrical apprenticeship and subsequent experience as an electrical engineer, I embarked on a career in management; firstly, as a Contract Supervisor, then as a Contract Manager. Beyond these stages, I then operated as National Electrical Compliance Manager for a major contractor in the social housing sector, where I was responsible for the implementation and management of an electrical compliance structure nationwide.

My current role is to oversee national electrical operations for the business. I am the senior point of contact for all clients and manage their electrical safety auditing requirements. I am also the Competent Person Scheme Principal Duty Holder and Qualified Supervisor, and responsible for ensuring that all requirements of the business are fully satisfied. 

Furthermore, I currently sit on the Board of Trustees for Electrical Safety First – the UK’s leading charity on electrical safety – to oversee governance, and support in satisfying the primary objectives of the charity.”
